How Our Data & Technology Works
When you perform a lookup on NumLocate, our algorithms parse the phone number using standardized ITU (International Telecommunication Union) formats and verify it against authoritative telecom routing databases. Here is what we look up:
Country & Area Codes
We match standard national destination codes and area codes to identify the geographical territory where the number was originally allocated.
Carrier & Line Type
We query network registries to detect whether a number is a mobile cell line, traditional landline, or a virtual VoIP service often used in robocall operations.

Transparency means being completely clear about our boundaries:
- No Real-Time Surveillance: We do not track individuals in real time or access private GPS data. Real-time handset tracking without device-level authorization is impossible through public web lookups, and we firmly oppose deceptive tracking claims.
